Vision for the future of Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh (AKPG), formulated by its President Shri Navnitbhai Choksi:

AKPG must get eye check-up of all incoming girls using the most advanced techniques by eminent and qualified ophthalmologists so that in case there is the slightest chance for any girl to regain even partial use of her eye-sight, AKPG can get it done.

AKPG must record the present economic status of all its old students and provide stipends to those in need of assistance.

AKPG must find out which are the latest technologies available for educating vision-impaired people, within India to start with. Such technologies must be acquired by AKPG for the benefit of its inmates, along with trained people to implement them.

For the future needs of AKPG, work must begin right away to identify and induct suitable people who can be relied upon for their sincerity and devotion to the aims of the Institute and who are competent to do the tasks assigned to them of training and rehabilitating our inmates.

Each girl in our Institute must be made to feel that the Institute and its staff are like foster parents who can be relied upon by them for guidance and support even after they leave the Institute to begin their own independent lives.
